We at FRIENDS OF FALLEN HEROES NY realize and appreciate the enormous sacrifices made by our Veterans and Law Enforcement personnel on a daily basis to help guarantee the unique freedoms available to citizens of the United States as provided for in our Constitution and Bill Of Rights.

 

These freedoms, unfortunately, are taken for granted by a large number of the citizenry.  Also taken for granted are the many men and women who have been injured or worse in the line of duty protecting these freedoms.  We feel that it is a national disgrace that these brave men and women are at many times neglected, ignored and not provided the assistance or treatment that they need.

 

After working with the Westchester All-Stars Christmas Concert For Wounded Veterans and Bill Edwards for 5 years, and witnessing first hand the incredible work done by Bill and other similar organizations, we were inspired to start our own.  Having family members and many friends in Law Enforcement, we see the challenges facing them and their families and decided to try and assist them in addition to working to help our Veterans.  We will continue to work with the Westchester All-Stars Christmas Concert For Wounded Veterans at the concert and other fundraising opportunities.

 

Whether FRIENDS OF FALLEN HEROES NY grows or remains small, we will endeavor to do our best to help as many of our Veterans and Law Enforcement family as possible.  As we move forward, we will share some of our success stories…but some will remain untold as we respect the need for privacy and the sensitivity of certain circumstances specific to the individuals or families that we will assist.
